Caretaker Responsibilities:
Minimum upkeep Check List Daily House __ Pick up glasses, cups, saucers, dishes, etc. __ Empty ash trays, wipe clean and straighten furniture on porch. __ Change sheets and make beds after members leave. ___Clean bathroom-toilets, basins and showers(Depending on member use) ___Check bathroom paper towels and toilet paper in all stalls. ___Keep oven and stove clean. ___Straighten furniture and bring chairs to upright position ___Check inside trash containers and keep clean. Empty when full. ___When no one is in the club house, turn lights off and set thermostats to 75 in bedroom and eating area ___Caretakers should always wash hands prior to handling food. Grounds ___ Keep exterior in orderly condition at all times both member and caretaker areas ___ Keep outside and wet slip area free of trash. ___ Lock all gates nightly. Weekly (More often if needed) House ___ Mop floors throughout club and sweep porch. ___ Check bathroom petitions for dirt, hand prints, etc on all partition walls – clean where needed. ___ Check all sheetrock walls for spills stains, etc., especially kitchen area. ___ Clean underside of kitchen hood ___ Dust furniture, beds and window sills. ___ Check all light fixtures for bugs and check lights inside and out for burnt out bulbs or tubes. Clean and replace as necessary. ___ Wipe stainless steel trash cans, ice maker cover and refrigerator. ___ Drop (1) Chlorine tab in the black pipe w/white cap in middle of septic tank (Tuesday Morning) Grounds ___ Mow grass ___ Empty trash cans on wet slip side and put out garbage for pickup ___ Walk dock area and check for hazards such as loose boards, missing wood deck pieces or debris which can cause any type of accident. Monthly House ___ Change A/C – Heater filters ___ Clean Window glass ___ Clean refrigerator interior ___ Pour proper product into bathroom floor drains ___ Dust fixture over pool table & Fan in TV Room. furniture, beds and window sills Grounds ___ Weed eat ditch near club building ___ Visually check fire extinguishers in club and wet slip area on green. Reporting ___ Prepare monthly accounting and submit by 5th of every month. Misc House ___ Perform minor repairs as necessary. ___ Use one hot water heater in summer and set temperature to 120 ___ Check and change water filter on refrigerator quarterly Jan. Apr, Jul, Oct ___ Keep gate to dry storage area locked at all times when area not in use. ___ Check gas and Ice supply and replenish as necessary. Grounds ___ Weed eat ditch near club building ___ Keep Club Dry shed locked at all times to avoid theft. ___ Keep Club trailer locked at the tong at all times.
